The Phyto-Lite operates with 8, 96" long 74 watt single pin, rapid start fluorescent lamps. It is the ideal fixture for the illumination of seedlings and cuttings, particularly with the use of Gro-Lux Wide Spectrum Lamps, alone or in 50-50 combination with the standard Gro-Lux lamps. The area illuminated by Phyto-Lite accommodates many flats permitting seed germination and early seedling growth under constant light source. The diagram below illustrates approximate light levels in footcandles, showing variations in intensity at different mounting heights. Phyto-Lites are equipped with a 12 foot, 16 gauge, 3 wire cord with a molded NEMA plug. Fluorescent tubes must be ordered separately.
